Anyone with an interest in Model RC Aircraft is welcome to join the club!
There are however, a few things you should know:
- Cost is just $20.00 per person, per year. Membership lasts for one
year and renews on June 1st of each year. Dues must be paid by the end of
July.
- Each member is expected to abide by the rules and regulations set
forth by the club.
- Every member of KMAK must be a member in good standing
with AMA. AMA membership will need to be maintained by the member
and kept in good standing to fly at the KMAK site.
- Membership includes a monthly newsletter, use of the KMAK field &
Fun Fly events each year, which happen to have the best in BBQ food you
could ever want! Joe and his wife cook the best burgers
around!
If you have never flown an airplane - as I had - upon entering the KMAK,
or if you are a seasoned vet looking for new ground to fly over, stop on by
and check us out!
 | New flyers should know that we will do everything to help you get in
the air and safely back down to make your flying experience an exciting
one. Lessons are offered free. Just don't do it alone! (Unless you like to
rebuild airplanes!) |
